What to know about the Oregon St. Beavers

The Vols got their draw on Sunday night, they will play the Beavers of Oregon St on Friday in the NCAA Tournament (time TBD) so, without further ado, let’s get to know the Beavers.

Oregon State is coached by Wayne Tinkle, Tinkle is 268-197 (.576) all time as a head coach and is 0-4 all time in the NCAA Tournament. The offense this season for the Beavers hasn’t been great, they score 70 pts on 43% per game from the field. Ethan Thompson leads the team in point per game (15.3) , assists (3.9) , and steals (1.3). While Warith Alatishe leads the team in rebounds (8.5) and blocks (1.4). The Beavers got into the tournament by winning the PAC12 tournament in an upset, they hadn’t been playing well for a while and got hot just in time to win the tournament and get an NCAA tourney berth.

It won’t be easy, but I think the Vols can pull out the W and advance.
