Rocky Top Times #2
The second Rocky Top Times is going to be a doozy. To start off, on the Basketball side we had some really good news for both men's and women's basketball. We’ll start with the men first, the Vols added the commitment of 5 star forward Brandon Huntley Hatfield, originally a part of the 2022 class, Hatfield is reclassifying and will join the Vols 2021 class. The Vols also finally got the news we’ve been waiting for, 5th year senior John Fulkerson is returning! His story will end on his terms. Now, onto the Lady Vols. The Ladies added the head coach of Eastern Kentucky University as an assistant, Samantha Williams resigned from her position and within hours it was announced she would be joining the Lady Vols staff, Williams went 9-15 this season and 8-12 in the Ohio Valley Conference, after going 0-18 in conference and 2-27 the year before.
As I wrote about on Saturday, The Vols football team got some potentially very good news, as Bmaze Elite announced they would be putting together a 7v7 football team. Bmaze elite has helped UT basketball land many high ranked players.
The Vols baseball team lost the series to Vanderbilt 2-1,with the one win being possibly the most fun I've ever had watching a baseball game.
Finally, today Tennessee Football got a QB commitment from Michigan transfer Joe Milton. Milton is a former four star, he played six games for Michigan last year and completed 80 of his 141 passes for 1,077 yards and 4 touchdowns along with 4 interceptions.
That’s it for this week's Rocky Top Times. Make sure to follow me on Twitter @CommonVol to keep up with the Vols!
