Bold NCAA tournament predictions

With conference tournaments underway, it’s time to start making some bold predictions for the NCAA tournament. I will label how confident I am in each prediction. So let’s get to it!

Gonzaga gets upset early- Now, I’m not saying they will lose the first game, but I predict they will lose in their first 3 games. Gonzaga has a history of losing early in the tournament, and they just had a close game with BYU that they should’ve lost. CONFIDENCE LEVEL l- HIGH

One SEC team makes the elite eight- One of Tennessee, Arkansas, or Alabama will make a deep run I believe. It’s possible two or maybe even all three of those make a run, but i would bet money at least one does. CONFIDENCE LEVEL- HIGH

Louisville makes the tournament- I would definitely say a play in game would qualify under this. Currently Lunardi thinks they could fall to “last four in” but he says he definitely believes they are in. Lunardi isn’t the end all be all, but I think he is right here. CONFIDENCE LEVEL- MEDIUM

One seed massacre- I predict at least 2 one seeds lose in the sweet 16. One could possibly be Gonzaga, like I said earlier. CONFIDENCE LEVEL- MEDIUM

40 point game- I predict we have a player who goes for 40 points in a game, if i had to choose who that player would be, I’d say Mac McClung. CONFIDENCE LEVEL- MEDIUM

16 seed- 1 seed upset- I highly doubt this happens, but if a team was to get upset in a 16-1 game, i’d say it’d be Gonzaga. Probably not a surprise given how I’ve talked about them. CONFIDENCE LEVEL- LOW

FINAL FOUR TEAMS PREDICTION- Michigan, Tennessee, Illinois, Alabama.

Obviously this all depends on how the bracket shapes out. I will update my final four prediction and predict a nation champion after I see the bracket.
